Vozač je na prvom mestu

Umor smanjuje vreme reakcije, pažnju i percepciju opasnosti, a to se dešava dovoljno postepeno da ste loš sudija svog stanja. Pregledi faktora rizika za bezbednost na putu dosledno ga svrstavaju među značajne uzročnike [3].

Konvencionalne smernice — odmor od najmanje petnaest minuta otprilike svaka dva sata — su pragmatične, a ne proizašle iz oštrog praga. Takođe je, zgodno, blizu onoga što moderni električni automobil želi; naš objašnjavač zaustavljanja za punjenje pokriva zašto.

Deca to više trebaju

Mlađa deca podnose vezivanje kraće vreme, a posebno se savetuje da se ne ostavljaju u autosedištu na veoma dugim neprekinutim periodima, jer polusedeći položaj održavan satima može uticati na disanje kod vrlo male dece. Za malu decu i stariju decu ograničenje je ponašajno, a ne fiziološko, ali nije manje stvarno.

Upotreba sigurnosnog sedišta

Sistematski pregledi povreda dece u saobraćajnim nesrećama [1] i intervencija za bezbednost na putu [2][3] ponovo identifikuju pravilnu upotrebu sigurnosnog sedišta kao glavni zaštitni faktor. Reč koja radi posao je pravilno — zloupotreba je česta, a sedište instalirano labavo ili sa uvijenim trakama funkcioniše daleko ispod svoje ocene.

Na dugom putovanju vredi proveriti instalaciju pre polaska, a ne na prvom zaustavljanju, i vredi znati da mnoge zemlje nude besplatne usluge provere.
