Pri malčkih in starejših otrocih je omejitev vedenjska in ne fiziološka, vendar ni nič manj resnična.

Uporaba zadrževalnega sistema

Sistemski pregledi poškodb otrok v prometnih nesrečah [1] in intervencij v varnosti na cesti [2][3] dosledno identificirajo pravilno uporabo zadrževalnega sistema kot glavni zaščitni dejavnik. Beseda, ki dela delo, je pravilno — zloraba je pogosta, in sedež, nameščen ohlapno ali s prepletenimi trakovi, deluje daleč pod svojo oceno.
